I am HumAnima CIC's Director and Counsellor. I graduated with a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Keele University in Staffordshire. I have a longstanding interest in psychology, mental health well-being, nature, and eco-psychology.

I set up HumAnima CIC after a lifelong passion with the human-animal bond and having grown up in a very deprived West Midlands City – Wolverhampton. I felt that something more needed to be done to benefit the community but in a different way – a way that everyone could connect to and that could unite people in their struggles. I believe that everyone at some point in their lives has interacted with an animal and it is this interaction that connects us all.

Having experienced clinical depression myself a decade ago, I understand some of the darker struggles that many of us faced when lost in the mire of poor mental health. I am dedicated to supporting and encouraging others' personal development and growth, and helping others to overcome their personal challenges.

I work with my furry Canine Companion and Co-Therapist, Flossie, an 8-year-old English Cocker Spaniel. Flossie loves nothing more than chasing balls, squirrels, and woodland runs!
