Mandy Atkinson is a Certified Transactional Analyst, relational UKCP registered psychotherapist, supervisor, teacher and author. Her work is informed by both her lived experience and her clinical experience. As a psychotherapist working with shame is an integral part of her clinical work. She provides relational psychotherapy, supervision and training in her general practice and in weight and eating. She also undertakes research, writes and publishes on shame based psychotherapy and on eating, shape and weight. Her recent journal article Nourish: A Framework for Nourishing Eating-Disordered Clients Using a Structural and Relational Methodology was published in the Transactional Analysis Journal in April 2023. She is a visiting tutor and examiner at several colleges.
