Course Details

Originally called “Comprehensive Distancing”, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses not on eliminating difficult feelings, but rather what it means to be “present” with what life brings us, and how to move towards valued behaviour. This one-hour workshop will give a brief overview of the six core principles of ACT, and how these can help develop psychological flexibility. We will also describe an ACT-based toolkit designed to help people overcome the exceptional challenges of 2020, and successfully “F.A.C.E. C.O.V.I.D.”
